Kevin Brown is the Director of the Master of Social Work program of Southern University at New Orleans.  Previously he served as the Chair of the Social Work Department at Eastern University, helping establish a CSWE accredited MSW program in Trauma Informed Practice.  Prior to that, Brown was the Caskey Chair of Church and Community Ministries and Professor of Social Work at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where, in addition to teaching social work, counseling and urban ministry classes, he was Director of Prison Programs, overseeing six degree programs for incarcerated students in four states.
